A message from Morton's chairman:

The Morton Shop is on the move!

Negotiations with Smiths Sports, West Blackhall Street, Greenock, have resulted in us agreeing to take over part of the ground floor of Smith’s and to move all stock from Cappielow to the West Blackhall Street shop. The Morton shop, although accommodated within Smiths, will remain a separate operation. The move to a more central location should make it more convenient for supporters while the enlarged space available to the Club will mean that the range of clothing and other merchandise will be much wider than what has previously been offered from the Cappielow shop.

Shop facilities will, however, still be available at Cappielow on match days.

I am excited about the new arrangements with Smiths with whom the Club have enjoyed excellent working relations for over 40 years. We are now moving to a new era of co-operation and I place on record my sincere thanks for all they have done for Morton in the past and for their excellent support and co-operation in our recent negotiations. I believe that our Club is very fortunate in having the new arrangement and I look forward to the growth in sales as, currently without Scottish League sponsorship support, the Club does require to maximise as many commercial streams as possible.

The New Morton Kit is produced by Bukta (www.bukta.com) who have been the top provider of sportswear to many football clubs. Bukta's made a policy decision earlier this year to re-enter the football arena having previously supplied teams such as Arsenal, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Hibernian, Hearts, and Dundee United. Already they have ‘signed up’ several English Clubs plus Motherwell, Dundee and ourselves in Scotland.

Top quality and the Bukta name have always been synonymous as evidenced by the displays in high quality stores throughout the UK like Selfridges in London.

We are truly delighted with the width and quality of their range of goods and look forward to showing them to you at THE MORTON SHOP AT SMITHS.

The home replica shirts will be available from 7pm on Thursday 26th July at The Morton Shop @ Smiths onwards.

Bukta have been able to produce Infant Morton Kits from Age 1, which is great news for supporters
